hello newbie in ohio

hi my name is steve myers i,am from akron,ohio
i,am a 52 yr old single male with no background in real estate
i was brought here by a friend because of my interest in learning rehab and resell.
i have been trying to get something started for three yrs now but keep running into the brick wall of bad credit and poor income .
i,am currently on disabilty and want to make a change in my life,i guess my first challenge is getting my credit score to where it need to be
so i thank everyone for letting be apart of this and hope to get some good insight and info .....steve
