I'm Andrew Young. I live about 30 miles north of NYC and I just found this site while searching for info on REI. My goal is to purchase multi-family homes as rental units. I'm as green as they come, actually I just bought some bananas that were REALLY green, but I digress. Anyway a big HELLO to everyone who takes a look at this post. Have a great day.

Hi Andrew. Welcome to BP. I'd suggest reading Gary Eldred, Steve Berges, and David Lindahl. Reading these guys books really helped me get a decent foundation from an investing perspective when I jumped into multi-family.

This one here from the Appraisal Institute is really great too.
