My name's Josh McNicoll and I'm the first in my family to have not only been bitten by the real estate investing bug but also to have done something about it--my wife and I purchased our first (and so far, only) rental property here in Seoul, South Korea about 5 years ago. Pretty strange how things work out since I don't even own a property back home in Kansas City! Aiming to change that in 2015.

Right now, I'm teaching university students in Seoul English language classes and helping them build up their fluency. I have a similar goal here on BP--to build up my fluency in real estate investing. My ultimate aim is to build a portfolio of rental properties that provide financial stability and independence.

Last weekend, Brandon Turner Skyped-in to our Seoul Real Estate Investing club and I think that was what really made me realize that even though we are all over the world, we can still help each other and offer support. Hope I can help you all out in the future. Right now though, I could use a helping or two.

Meeting some of you active investors and hearing from you wherever you are (Kansas City, Seoul, or elsewhere!) would be great.

All the best for 2015.

Josh
