Hello fellow BP members!

Glad to have found this site and so many active and passionate people!  My wife and I have been "casual landlords" by renting out our previous residence (held it due to the last market downturn), but we are looking to become more serious investors in real estate and begin buying multiple properties. My wife and I are currently interested in multi-family properties (4-plex and smaller). Ideally these would be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, however, we are also looking into out-of-state properties that would generate a higher rate of return than our local area (local caps have ranged from 3-4% based on my calcs).  Looking forward to meeting with a few of the local members and exchanging thoughts with all of you!

Best,

Steve
