Hi my fellow BP members,

My name is Senica Evans and of course, I'm new to Bigger Pockets. I currently reside in Homewood, IL which is about 20 minutes south of downtown Chicago. I stumbled across BP as I was Googling information on real estate investing and this site kept showing up in my results. So I decided, after attending a couple webinars, reading the beginners guide, and cruising the site, to join. 

I am a real estate investor and designer masquerading in an accountants body. I have a little experience in real estate so I'm not completely new at this. I was a real estate agent and had a duplex under my belt many years ago. Then after many mistakes and a couple kids, I took a break from real estate. I've now resurrected my career as an investor with a single buy-and-hold rental and will soon be getting my real estate license back.

BP is quenching my thirst for knowledge as a life learner. I look forward to meeting the awesome members of this community.
