NYC paper investor, new to REI'ing
Hi all, very thankful to have found this site.
3 weekends before I literally was in contract to buy my first home way out in Broward county South Florida. Backed out due to a less than desirable inspection.
As if there is such a thing as fate, last weekend came out of a Rich Dad 3 day seminar, and I'm not quite sure how I was able to keep my credit card in my pocket and walk out of there. I did walk out humbled. I thought I had done well for my self last few years saving and investing in the markets. But all I've done is really give my money to someone else in the HOPE for a return.
I thought to myself I'd take 6 months to really deep dive in this area of investing and maybe pay for their classes if I could not find the info or mentor any other way. But possibly biggerpockets has all the education I need to put my toe in the water...and I can take that 46k and use it on a property instead.
Thanks for listening.
