Hello,

My name is Arlis and I am a relatively new Investor from Stockton, CA, the foreclosure capital at one point. I work in the Emergency Room as a RN. For 5 years I have been working as a RN and I’m debating on pursuing my Masters in Nursing vs. MBA.

Real estate has always intrigued me. The cash flow here in CA is difficult to come by. It seems like most of the deals have to do with appreciation. My goals are to have enough passive income to exceed my expenses. Buy and hold properties interest me most since they seem to have the most potential at this time. I enjoy nursing and do not foresee myself quitting my job anytime soon, but I would like to be have my Real estate income replace my employment income by 2020.

My hobbies include fitness, and reading financial books. I just finished the 4 Pillars of Investing by William Burstein, and Real Estate Loopholes by Diane Kennedy and Garret Sutton. Currently I’m reading the Fortune Builders seminar book and will be attending their seminar in Modesto, CA in Jan. Other hobbies include working with my local church in the area of health ministry and Bible Quizzing, a program that helps teens with scripture memorization. I also enjoy hiking and basketball.

Arlis
