Hey all,
My name's Joe, I've been interested in real estate for several years. I'm currently getting my BBA in Real Estate at Georgia State University. So if anyone has questions about what you can learn about real estate at the undergrad level, I'm at your disposal.

My experience in real estate includes building houses with Habitat for Humanity, and managing tenants who sublease from me. I'm a member of IREM and the real estate club at GSU.

A short-term goal is to go into real estate on the commercial side, possibly doing financial analysis for a large institutional lender. But, I'm open as to what I want to do, and I know I'll be an asset to a company even if I'm doing something other than analysis. I'm currently having informational interviews, and beginning to search for internships and entry-level positions.

Beyond that, I plan to start investing in real estate and building my portfolio, as soon as it's feasible and I can do it in an intelligent, informed way. Eventually, I will launch my own business in the field of real estate and become truly financially independent.

I hope to contribute here as much as I can, pick up some useful ideas, and network, network, network. ;)

Glad to be here. Cheers!
