Hello Everyone,

About Me:
I'm a general contractor located in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. I specialize in Custom Homes and High-End Renovation work but have a special fondness for historic restoration work. After discovering this site I feel I may have found a new revenue stream for my business in the foreclosure processes.

How I Got Here:
Foreclosures and the whole process has been an interest of mine for years but every time I'd look into it, it would seem like the few deals I found didn't fit into my business model. Recently while searching the MLS I started finding more REO's and Short Sales then I ever found before. Not completely sure if this is because of current market conditions or because I finally figured out how to look for these deals. Anyway, I ended up here about two weeks ago and have been lurking ever since.

Like I said I have been lurking for about 2 weeks and that is because everytime I was about to sign up so I could ask a question I would click on the next topic and there would be the answer. I probably spent atleast 40 hours on here over the past 2 weeks just reading all the messages. I think my wife is getting sick of me sneaking into bed at 3am after spending hours on here reading. What can I say...Biggerpockets has become my mistress.
