Newbie in Philadelphia/Manayunk/Conshohocken/King of Prussia/Phoenixville/Spring City

Hi All,

I'm looking to buy my first property in the Philadelphia area.

My name is Erik, and I'm a 27 y/o young professional working in the King of Prussia/Philadelphia area.

Much of what I've learned about real estate investing has been from these message boards...I have some limited experience as a lawyer working on cases involving real estate issues, but I should not be relied upon as an expert on these forums and nothing I say here should be construed as legal advice.

I'm interested in purchasing my first property in the South Philadelphia or Conshohocken/Manayunk area (a place I would want to live for a few years). Would love to discuss effective strategies for investing in these areas.

As to what brought me here, I was brought here by the "Thanksgiving Special" and free audio from the 2012 Summit (which has been superb).
