Hey everybody!  Wanted to introduce myself and really start jumping into the BP website more.  My name is Dan Mortimer.  I have only been in the work-a-day world for 6 years or so and am already looking to get out of the rat race.  My experience in Real Estate is minimal.  All I know I have read in a few books and listened to the Rich Dad Radio show as well as a few episodes of the BP podcast (which rocks, by the way).  What I am really looking to get into is rental properties that generate cash flow.  I know there is money in flipping and wholesaling, but rental property is where I want to be.

Along with most people that are new to this site, I am really looking for people who can help me take the first step toward getting my first rental property.  I know a lot of the process is on me, but having a person or people that can give me a few tips along the way would help drastically.

Ultimately, I want to be in Real Estate because I want to do more than just make a pile of money.  I want to provide my family with something that can last them forever and give them the financial education that will give them an advantage throughout their young lives.  I also want to get into rental properties because I have stayed in some very poor apartments and want to give people a place to live where they feel comfortable.

Very happy to get going and continue the learning process.  Can't wait to get to know a lot of you over the next few weeks, months, and years.
