HI All,

I just joined BP recently. This is a very resourceful site. Tons of information and I am hooked onto it. I try to read up all forums and marketplace posts in any spare time. I've been listening to lot of the pod casts. I wish I had known of this site when I first began investing back in 2012.

My focus is primarily on buy and hold properties for cash flow. I bought a couple of SFH in AZ as rental properties. I'm primarily investing out of state mainly because I'm priced out of the CA market. I cannot find any good deals where I live.

I've been looking for buy and hold properties in TX (Houston, Dallas, Austin) and possibly FL (Parrish). If anyone can provide any insight into these area, that'll be great.

Over time I want to start investing in multi-family and apartments.

I'm mainly out here for networking and make some great lasting connections that will help me move ahead with my investing goals.

Regards,

Gaurav

Welcome to Biggerpockets!

We are buy and hold investors. We own both out of state and instate. I actually love Central Valley great cash flow. Watch Texas and Florida for the insurance and taxes. We buy in Charleston. Taxes and Insurance are much higher than california. I also like to diversify.

This is an amazing place because the only thing everyone agree with is real estate. Other than that everyone has their own niche. So look around the blogs, forums and listen to the podcasts. If you see a post you enjoy check out the persons signature. Many of us including myself talk about our strategies, styles, niches and business model on our website. So definitely check that out as it is an amazing additional resource. For example, my blog is about while working full time, buy and hold investing, 0% Down Rentals, Personal Properties turned rentals, Long distancing investing, self-managing 3,000+ miles away. Definitely list your blog or website in your signature, if you have one. Its a great additional networking source.

Look forward to seeing you around! Let me know if I can help!
