North Atlanta Newbie Seeking Advice

Daniel Brownlow
  • Cumming, GA
Posted

Hello Fellow BP members,

I am new to BP and RE investing. I just currently retired from the Air Force and  moved  back to the Atlanta area (Alpharetta).  I am looking to make as many connections across the RE spectrum and gain experience from the seasoned veterans in the community. I welcome any and all advice on starting my next chapter.

Thanks in advance.

@Daniel Brownlow haha the only reason I asked was I've found that a lot of newbies do the opposite by starting out wholesaling/flipping and eventually transition to buy and hold after they've built a enough capital.

I am all for the buy and hold strategy especially if you have the means to acquire properties right of the bat. I've only been in Atlanta for two years and I have seen a lot of good rentals bought up and prices increase so if you do find a great deal go after it! Regardless best of luck to you as you start out. Take advantage of the boards and its members if you ever have any questions and I look forward to running into you around town. Be sure to check out the local real estate investors alliancs (atlanta reia and Georgia Reia) for some face to face networking
