Hello to all.

To start off the new year right I thought it was time to join a forum, and after a fair amount of research, this is clearly the best site available.

I'm a relatively new investor (a little under a year). Two associates and myself decided that after a number of years on the wrong side of the banking industry (yup, we were brokers) it was time to branch out and learn everything we could about the world of real estate.

So far we've picked up three rental properties in Syracuse, NY -- a 3 unit and two 2 units. A couple of snags here and there but so far so good...

Our major goals:
1. Pick up and turn over REOs in Southern Cal
2. Purchase properties valued under 100K throughout the midwest, re-fi cash out, and rent for small profit. Thinking mostly SFRs
3. Wholesale! Wholesale! Wholesale! Still learning everything we can about how to, but man does this seem like the thing to do.

Anyway, really looking forward to becoming an active member of this site and learning from as many of you as I can. Hopefully I can offer the same from my end in time.

Good luck to everyone in '08!
