Newbie from Irvine California!

Greetings everyone!

My name is Thomas and I'm a fresh newbie out of southern California. I don't have any prior real estate experience but I hope to change that soon. I joined biggerpockets due to the fact that I ultimately want a brighter future and I believe real estate can provide that for me. I believe the wealth of information on this site will surely have me on my way! As any other newbie, I want to get started with wholesaling. Ive been reading a ton on the topic and find it quite amazing! Being new to the site, I have a lot of surfing to do. I'll take some time navigating the site but until then, I wanted to ask a question in regards to meeting up with someone. Being the newbie that I am, what would it take for me to be able to meet with a seasoned wholesaler in my area to learn a thing or two? Maybe its wrong for me to ask that but I feel like if I learned first hand from a wholesaler who knows what they're doing, It would be incredibly beneficial. Hope to be able to build many many relationships on this site as this is the beginning of long journey for me!
