New To Real Estate Investing and Reside In Los Angeles.

Hello All, 

My name is Brian and WOW am I glad to now be a member of the BP community( a blessing) thanks to my friend and brother @JosephCoach. Since high school I've envisioned on and off of being a real estate investor of some sort, though I knew nothing about real estate and furthermore what avenue of real estate I would be drawn to. I reside and Covina, CA Los Angeles county and am familiar with much of the So Cal area. 

I am currently studying for the California Real Estate Salesperson License and constructing my Real Estate Investing Business Plan, though that is where I could use some help(yes you! Someone whom was once in my shoes :). My wife and I have a young family including an 18 month old son, my Champion! So, we are pressed in the financial area, but are optimistic. I am really looking to learn from many of you here on BP who have taken the steps to succeed as Real Estate Investors. Any advice would help, for there is no more ON and OFF for me; I'm ALL IN
