Newbie from Central Valley, California

Hello BiggerPockets,

My name is Dax Candelario.  I am a resident of Visalia, CA, in the serene and quiet central valley, California.  I am a returning fan of BiggerPockets, since I first signed up several years ago and then came back rather recently.  I am just a regular guy with a full-time job, a single parent raising three robust young men, also busy with school, thankfully it is online.  I also enjoy helping out in our community. 

This time in my life, I am in the process of purchasing my first home, which I am very excited and at the same time anxious and nervous about as a hopeful first time home buyer.  I am hoping to learn from you all and hopefully network with local investors since I am just a newbie in this exciting industry. 

My ultimate goal is to buy and hold SFR and multi-family units and maybe rehab some along the way. And graciously, I am open to learn as much as I can with this ever changing industry which has always intrigued me. I have so much respect with a lot of BiggerPockets members because of their knowledge and willingness to share their successes and mistakes to learn by.
