New kid on the block from Boston, MA
Hello all - I have been in commercial real estate in the Boston area for 8 years, the past 7 of which I've worked for a national multifamily developer bringing large apartment communities to fruition. Since I was young I have wanted to renovate and re-sell homes (before it had a fun name like "flipping" and turned into the cool thing to do, thanks to HGTV), and at this point in my life/career I have decided to go ahead and make the jump into the investing world. A friend and I are planning to soon begin flipping houses in the Greater Boston/South Shore area; we are going to start small but at some point in the next few years I hope to make it my full-time career. Though I have an active MA real estate license and plenty of large-scale development experience, I have relatively little knowledge of how to break into, and be successful in, the single-family residential flipping realm. I would love the opportunity to network with other investors in the area and am looking forward to taking advantage of all BP has to offer!
