Hey Folks,

I'm Michael Baker, a personal trainer living in Jersey City, NJ.  I'm new to the forums, and real estate investing.  My long term goal is to invest in buy and hold properties, starting in NJ and expanding at some point.  In the short term, I hope to do some house hacking by occupying a duplex or triplex in Hudson County.  I have wife and 6 month old daughter, and I figure I can't rest on my hands waiting for my future to fall in my lap.  I feel that real estate investing is the key to creating something great for my family. I think it's time I finally introduced myself, and stopped lurking around.

I'm hoping to connect with some people in my area (brokers, lenders, other investors, etc.), and I really plan on continuing to learn from the BP Community.

I'll conclude with thanking everybody that posts, and takes their time to answer questions to people like myself.  It's super empowering to learn all of this info.

Thanks!
