Newbie in Warner Robins, GA

Hello all, my name is Deric Alston and i'm freshly new to real estate but it's always been something that I have wanted to explore. I have no background what so ever in the field. I'm originally from North Carolina, but now living in Middle Georgia. I am currently in the military. As far as my goals in real estate, I am still working on those because of how new I am to it. I found bigger pockets while I was searching for basic information on real estate. I'm pretty excited to just be learning and being able to draw on any experiences that anyone is willing to share. Thank you all so much for reading and welcoming me and providing me with great information.

Welcome to lovely Warner Robins as well as the amazing Bigger Pockets community!  Be sure to read over the many guides available from the Learn tab at the top of the screen.  Between the articles, blogs, forum posts, guides, etc., there isn't a question that can't be answered in this community.  If there's something you're unsure of, by all means, ask.   There are no such things as stupid questions here since we're all learning and building together from every step of progression.

I've been in the middle GA area for almost six years as an active duty member myself. I'll be closing on my second SFR this week (finally!) If you'd like to meet up for lunch or something to discuss whatever topic, shoot me a PM, I love getting to know others who are interested in real estate. I believe there is an REIA that meets up in Macon, but I can't remember for sure, I've been down range for about a year.
