Hello everyone,

I'm looking forward to a successful venture with all of you.  I'm hoping to learn as well as teach.  Thank you in advance for everything.

Welcome to Biggerpockets!

What kind of real esate investing are you interested in ? The great thing about Biggerpockets is that while everyone invests in Real Estate, that where most of the similiarities end and the difference start. We invest in buy and hold investments. Our investments are class A properties, many start off as our personal residence and become rentals upon move out.

In addition to the podcasts, blogs and forums. Also check out those who's philospophies you enjoy signature. The signature includes the web address for the investors. Many people including myself discuss their "niche" and strategy in depth on their website.

My husband is active duty military so we live a VERY transient life. We got started through buying a personal property fixing it up and than renting it out. I self manage all of our properties because it allows me to save management fees and have more control over the product. Oh, does it have its moments but it has been great overall.

Perosnal properties have a lower down payment and interest rate so it was a great way for us to get started. As we have succeeded we have than added to it with true personals. My website talks about our philiosophies but also have alot about working with tenants and how to work with tenants.

Again, welcome and I look forward to seeing you on the forums.
