Just joined! Seeking advice on alternative financing

I'm new to Bigger Pockets but have been investing in real estate since mid 2011. I just acquired my second property, a 5 bedroom SFH in Ithaca, NY which I'm also using as my primary residence.

I am interesting in connecting with someone who has experience with alternative financing for the purpose of buying SFH/multi-unit rentals. I think I've been a pretty good landlord the last few years and would love to be able to expand, but at this point I'd be limited to alternative financing.

I don't have much in the way of RE experiencing to offer as I'm still pretty new to this, however I am a professional software engineer and web developer and it'd be cake for me to develop web sites, apps, etc for any potential mentors out there. Looking forward to getting in touch!
