My name is Matt McCarty. I am a software engineer based out of Orlando. My wife is studying for her exam to become a real estate agent. Both of us have an interest in flipping houses and owning rental properties, but neither of us have experience.

I was speaking to a former colleague of mine who owns several rentals and he has been thoughtful enough to share his knowledge. Registering with biggerpockets.com was his first piece of advice.

I look forward to learning from the community and guiding others when I gain experience of my own.
