Yet another newbie! From Northern Va

Hello All!

Yet another newbie here! I'm from Northern Virginia and new to BP. I'm soaking up all the information on the podcasts and the forums trying to learn as much as I can. I've had my eye on real estate for a while so this is a great resource. 

I see myself as a buy and hold investor since I have a pretty stable and fun W2 job. Since I live in a pretty expensive I area, I always thought I'd have to save up a massive downpayment for an investment property in the local area. Thanks to BP, I'm expanding my search and now I'm looking further Northwest/west of where I live. Maybe in the Hagerstown, MD, Martinsburg, WV or the surrounding areas where prices aren't so high.

I'm glad this resource is here and I look forward to connecting with like-minded folks!
