New member from CA

Hello everyone,

I'm a new member here, introduced to Bigger Pockets by my colleague @Dmitriy Fomichenko .

I started my family recently and now look forward to finding our first home. I worked in financial services so we know our financing options, but as first time home buyers, everything else is brand new to us! 

Right now I'm looking to learn everything I can about buying our first home, and then perhaps investing in real estate later on. And this community seems to be the perfect place to start!
