Hey everyone! My name is Coleman and I've been wanting to get into real estate since my college days several years ago.  I was planning on waiting until I have more money saved up before I started, but after spending hours a day over the past couple weeks listening to the Just Start Real Estate podcast, @Mike Simmons has convinced me that maybe I don't have to wait.

I want to start doing fix and flips outside of my regular full-time job as a CPA.  Starting with one or two a year until I get some experience and figure out what I'm doing. Then hopefully one day I will be able to do real estate full-time.  So I'm looking to build my network, including hoping to find a mentor that can give me a few pointers along the way.  Also, since I don't have the savings for down payments and rehabs yet, I'm hoping to partner up with some private money lenders that would be willing to finance 100% of the purchase and rehab costs.

Also, if anyone needs any accounting advice, let me know and I'll try to find the answer for you.  I don't know all of the answers, but I can usually find them!

Hey Coleman,

Welcome. Like Steven I am a buy and hold investor in Cincinnati. I am only 2.5 years out of school so I am in the same boat as you. Cincinnati is a great place to invest. I have purchased 9 single families and should be closing my first 5 family this week. Good to see our generation jumping on the path to wealth. I definitely consider myself a beginner but if I can help any way let me know.  Best of luck!
