Hello from Pittsburgh PA/NYC

Hello BP! My name is Angad and I am from Pittsburgh PA, but currently go to college in New York City.

I have been following real estate on and off for about a year and discovered BP through a friend that recommended the BP podcasts (LOVE THEM!!). I would like to learn a lot more about real estate investing as I plan to peruse a career in real estate or real estate finance.

While my studies are my first priority, I also run a small business as a Dealer/Wholesaler of Rolex watches. Watches are my passion and there are quite a few similarities between high end watch wholesaling and real estate wholesaling.  I have built my business primarily by word of mouth, but am currently establishing an online presence at www.pittsburghwatchbuyers.com (website is in development).

I recently got my salespersons licence in the state of New York and am in the process of finding a broker sponsor. I am also eager to make my first real estate investment deal and  put some of the excess capital generated from my watch business to work (about 30K). I would like to partner up with a mentor in the Pittsburgh area to do it. I would love to learn from a mentor in the Pittsburgh or NYC area and work on making that first deal.
