Hey BiggerPockets!

My name is Nate Griffin and I'm currently living in Winston Salem, NC.  I'm from the Wilkesboro, NC area originally.  I studied for a masters in chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill. Since then I've been focusing on stock market and option investing/trading to generate income.  I've been successful at that, but am looking to shift some over into real estate investing, and work towards fix and flips to generate capital.

My goals are to use rehabs to build up capital, and buy and hold for more passive rental income longer term.

I am definitely glad I found BiggerPockets through just searching the web. It's a wealth of information and I think it can help me get started quicker than I originally thought for my move over into the REI world. I have already bought and read the J. Scott books, and they were great. I'd highly recommend for people interested in REI to check those out.

-Nate
