Hi everybody! My name is Casey Winder and I am a novice investor looking for my first deal and excited to take the plunge into the vast ocean of real estate. I have started taking a lot of basic steps: researching forums, listening to biggerpockets podcast (absolutely love them), and reading a lot of real estate introduction and self motivation books. Still trying to narrow down a niche and strategy, somewhat torn between the allure of cash flow from buy-hold and renting properties, and the, what seems to me, less stressful world of wholesaling. I plan on attending my first REIA meeting on the 17th of this month and really look forward to meeting people who are in the industry and making some new friends, at the meeting and on the forums.

NWREIA has had deal analysis meetings which are being discontinued.  However, an organization that has been active in NWREIA is starting to do their meetings outside the NWREIA.  Their next meeting is Monday evening.  They put on excellent RE Investor meetings.  Here's the info:
