Newbie from St. Louis, MO Saying Hello

Hi. My name is Kim and I'm 37 yrs young...I live just south of St. Louis, MO (home of the arch).

I've been fortunate enough to marry a man in construction and We have been very lucky to have built ourselves 2 houses to live in. This has helped us tremendously in equity.

This has really got me interested in real estate. I was actually really close to becoming a real estate agent until the market just dropped out in our area. Now, I'm realizing that rentals and foreclosures may be the way to go.

The first thing I did to get started was to sign up for RealtyTrac's free 7 day trial to see what's out there in my area for foreclosures, and get a couple books from my local library on real estate investing.

Somehow researching online led me to your site. I don't know how, but it did.

One thing we had done 6 months ago was to get a line of credit with our home equity of $60k for property to build again, if we found some land. Now, I'm thinking of using this line of credit towards a foreclosure. I just have lots of researching to do before jumping in.

I'm hoping your site will help me with that.

Anyway, just a little about me. Nice to be here. It seems like a great wealth of knowledge.
