Contractor in Northwest Indiana looking to flip
Hi,
I'm a contractor who's worked with a few property management companies that needed to get newly acquired rental properties rent ready. I've also worked as a subcontractor in a few cosmetic flips. I'm hoping I could get into house flips in the near future.
About me:
I started to work as a sub in 2010 hanging, tape, mud, drywall and paint for extra cash during college. I've been learning every little thing I could ever since.
I graduated 2012 with my bachelors, though not real estate related. Virtually no student loan.
I currently work as a painter in a local painting company for my 9-5
I attended a $50 weekend workshop this past february and saw a lot of red flags despite not really knowing much about real estate. In trying to find out whether that particular "mentoring program" is worth the $2-15k they're charging - which they're willing to finance even with bad credit - is worth the money, I stumbled upon biggerpockets. Now, I'm here.
