New Member and Investor in Houston, TX

Hey everyone, please allow me to introduce myself- My name is Arjun and I'm a new real estate investor in Houston, TX. Having read through a lot of posts here and gained quite a bit of knowledge from the Ultimate Beginners' Guide (Thank You biggerpockets!) I feel very confident venturing into my real estate career.

A little about me- I was a Project Manager at a construction company for more than 3 years, so I am quite comfortable dealing with contractors, renovations, budgets and schedules. I hope my experience in this field would benefit me in my real estate investments.

I am interested in purchasing single family properties, rehabbing and flipping them and am looking for opportunities to connect with Wholesalers who can provide me access to great deals in and around Houston. I am also looking for some references for good Hard Money lenders. I have seen the list provided under the Resources tab, but just wanted to get a personal reference from anyone who has worked with any of the hard money lenders in the Houston area. I am going to wrap this post up as it's getting quite long for a 1st post ha!
