Not new but back after quite a while away.

Hey All,

I'm back :-) I updated and combed through my profile today. Seems the majority of my connections from years ago got voted off real estate island. Just wanted to give an update on where I've been and what I'm doing now.

About 3 years ago I started doing acquisition heavily for a few medium size investors. The majority of my work was finding, purchasing, and reselling properties. The hedge funds flooded our market so I began working with them until their yields ran too thin. 

Now that we are back to a more normal market here in CA I've joined a few partners in forming an aggressive hard money lending firm. I'm really excited about it because it allows me to do all the parts of investing I love. We just finished all of our legal and licensing and are currently fund raising. It's so nice to be meeting new people again. :-p  Acquisition is a solo job and you can only listen to so many audiobooks while you drive. Thank you Spotify!

So I'm looking forward to getting back into the forums. I'm considering making some video responses as well. After over a decade in real estate I have so much I want to share. I'm so thankful @Joshua Dorkin stuck with this site in the infant years. The community is soooo huge now.
