Move to Michigan?

Hello Investors. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any positive feedback.

Here is the Scenario. I am currently Rehabbing houses for an investor in Nashville TN.

He is a great guy and is doing a lot of investing in the north Nashville area. I love what i do here for the most part. I do Demo, Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, Roof Repair, and many other things it takes to get a house ready to sell or rent. 

I would like to find an investor or 2 in Michigan around the Detroit area that could use such skills and work to getting a few of my own properties. I will do the labor for a small living expenses salary and part of the profits. Does this sound like a fair offer to any investors out there?
