New from tampa FL

Hi everybody. Been interested in REI for awhile but haven't came close to any deals yet. The only kind of coaching I've had is REI beginners book and a bunch of YouTube videos. One thing I heard is that I should probably find a mentor before diving right in. I'm in the Tampa Bay Area and would like to know about any meetups in this area. I'm 26 yrs old and don't really want to work for someone 55 hrs a week til I'm 65 lol. Thanks BP!!

@Jay Kiehn and @Greg Martin are guys our age that are out in your area. You should hook up with them.

I run a Meetup the first Sunday of the month up in Clearwater. It is kind of a trek for you but I think it is worth it. We get together and talk about what's working, concerns and questions. The open forum format is pretty awesome.
