Hello From the San Francisco Bay Area

Hi Everyone,

My name is Ali and I'm interested in using real estate as my primary investment tool for retirement. I'm trying to first learn a lot, crunch numbers etc. before taking the plunge. It makes sense to look at the Bay Area as my investment locale, but I'm open to other locations as well (though they'd be more hands-off).

As for my background: I lived in the Bay Area for the past 14 years, mostly in San Francisco, though now I'm in the East Bay. I worked several years as a Software Engineer but made the switch to become a legal professional.

I look forward learning from everyone and contribute any way I can. Cheers!
