I've been a secret lurker on biggerpockets for a while. I love listening to the podcasts while mowing the lawn. They're about the perfect length and are very entertaining.

What I like most about this site and Joshua is it appears as if high ethical standards are part of this business. I've watched too many of those flip shows where beat downs are a regular happening. I was listening to the J Scott podcast and loved his views on hiring the right contractor and not playing around with the numbers.

Anyway, I've decided to come out of the shadows and be a part of the community. I don;t plan on making this a lifestyle or anything - I just find it a lot of fun!

And thanks in advance for all of the great advice. Maybe someday I'll join the majority of you as real estate investors. Guess I better read Rich Dad, Poor Dad!
