Tired of being just another Bozo on the bus! New guy from the Boston area looking to learn.

So I found this site through the Bigger Pockets Podcast, been listening to as many as I can, trying to soak up info like a sponge. My very first sale/profit experience in real estate came in the March of 2014. My mother had passed several months before, leaving my dad in a fully paid off 2 family in a great location. We put the house on the market and sold it for over asking, cash.

After that sale had been established, we then had to sell MY house. I had purchased it from a family member for a great price and ended up making quite a bit from the sale. Both houses sold after one day on the market.

We then purchased a larger home to accommodate my growing family as well as my dad.

Ever since we sold those houses, I have had a nagging voice in the back of my head. The problem, I have NO IDEA where to even begin. I have money left from the sale of my house and I am hoping to get started by using that. Any and all help, guidance, suggestions, etc are welcomed and appreciated!
