Long-time fan, first-time caller from Cincinnati OH

I finally buckled under Josh and Brandon's constant admonitions on the podcasts and became a member of the site. I'm a classical musician and part-time landlord in Cincinnati, coming up on 2 years of home ownership and managing my triplex. After many years (and tens of thousands of dollars) of paying rent to other people, watching Scott McGillivray on his HGTV show Income Property was my inspiration to take the plunge. The benefits to my financial life were immediate and significant. I'm not handy and knew next-to-nothing about houses, but I'm learning quickly. I'm glad to have found this community, tell all of my friends about it, and am looking forward to learning much more. Thanks, Brandon and Josh !
