New Investor in Nola

Hi All,

I'm a new investor in New Orleans, LA. I bought a duplex about a year ago as my primary residence prior to finding BP or really understanding real estate investing at all. It was a good purchase though and things are going very well so far.

I'm psyched to continue my adventure in real estate and would like to start buying/selling vacant land. I'm trying to sort out the process and contracts needed for purchasing and selling raw land, and I've devouring content from @Seth Williams and @Mark Podolsky on land investing.

I'm excited to get in the mix to learn and help where I can! Let me know if you're an investor around New Orleans or if you're a land investor looking to network.

Harry

Mehran Kamari what I like about investing in raw land is it fits my interests (being outdoors fishing, camping, etc), it takes little cash to start, and requires little maintenance. To be honest. My initial post didn't include all my goals. Here goes:

1. Flip vacant land (ideally recreational land)
2. Start a SAAS software company probably around real estate investing.
3. Use profits from 1 and 2 to buy multi families

Hope to get there in a year or two!
