Advice purchasing Vacation Home & Rental

Hi All, I'm new to BP; nice to virtual meet you.

We're Property virgins looking to purchase a vacation property. My hubby and I live in the Seattle area where property is super expensive. We vacation a couple times a year at the Oregon coast and am considering purchasing a condo on the beach. Obviously we won't occupy the condo full-time so making it a vacation rental is an option.

Does anyone have experience here and some guidance to offer?
