My family will be relocating from Iowa to North Carolina in a few months.

We're interested in starting to do rehabs/flips sometime around next fall focusing on properties under $60k. We will be looking to buy in Goldsboro, Smithfield, Selma, Clayton, and a few other nearby areas. In the meantime, we're looking to learn all we can (through experience if possible), build a good support team, and get as much of the business/admin side of things in place before we begin.

We are cash only investors, so we're looking to build our business slowly but steadily. Our short term goal (5 years) is to be doing around 6 flips a year.

Long term (20+ years), we'd like to have a strong real estate investment company focusing on building small developments and holding some rental properties.

Thanks to all the BPers for the great site. It's been a great asset already.
