Newbie from Miami, Florida

Hello everyone, my name is Enrique and I'm from Miami, Florida. I'm 20 years old and have been interested in business since i was a child partly due to my grandmother who was the one that helped me with my smaller business ventures when I was younger and now with real estate investing.

I remember when I was younger my grandparents bought a house that needed some fixing up and every week i would go with them to help with what i could, when they finally sold the house they made a profit of a few tens of thousands which although not a fortune seemed like very good money to me at the time. Because of this, and because I've weighed the risks and benefits of other forms of investing, I believe real estate is a relatively safe and profitable business when done correctly. I now have one property rented out and am looking to buy another one as soon as I find a good deal.

I signed up to this site because I had read a few of Brandon Turner's articles about real estate and saw this site mentioned a few times in the articles as well as the comments and it seemed like a good place to gather some information and hopefully form some business connections. Because of my age and inexperience I could use as much help and guidance as possible and would greatly appreciate any help I can get. I don't really know anyone with business aspirations like myself, especially not in my age range, so I am looking forward to talking to you all and getting your input, as well as making some friends and business contacts along the way.
