Hello everyone. I'm Dave, and I have 20+ years experience in construction, architecture, and development. I currently have a FT job in the commercial sector, however residential rehab has been a long-time dream of mine. My wife and I are in the early phases of starting an REI company. This site is a tremendous resource, and we have so much to learn. Our first "brick wall" has been financing issues. We're in unique circumstances in that we both have quite high, verifiable incomes and great credit, just not much in the way of liquid assets we want to utilize in the beginning. We're certainly willing to put some "skin in the game," however we've basically been told that we need around $30K available in cash to get started. We're definitely willing to get creative, but would certainly welcome any ideas to help us get our business up and rolling.
