Hi Y'all James here from Northeast Tennessee. I'm excited to have found the BP website. I think I'm finally starting to get my footing. I am a graphic designer by trade and work from home with my wife who has had amazing success selling designs online. We attended a fortune builders conference about 2 years ago and learned quite a bit but its taken me a long time to get going, partly because of the demands of owning our own graphics business. I feel like I have done everything backwards… meaning I have a S-corp and website that I just finished but I haven't rehabbed a home yet! lol But I will! My partner and I recently had a couple come on as private investors who believe in us and wanted to be a part of our new business. They are amazing people and really good friends. I feel a huge responsibility to make good decisions with their money. So everything is in place… I just need that first deal. I have spent a lot of time with agents and the MLS, no luck so far. My next approach is going to be direct mail and I also considered auction.com but being a "newbie" I'm not sure if thats the best direction for us yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone who has knowledge of the market here in Northeast TN. All the best! James
