New Member Introduction!
I’m based in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. I’m a husband and dad to three amazing kids with #4 on the way, and my wife and I have made a decision that we’re all in on real estate investing.
Our goal is to build a portfolio of rental properties — specifically to house Section 8 tenants — because we believe in providing stable housing and also value the consistency of guaranteed rental income. We’ve talked at length about this path and decided it’s what we truly want for our family.
Right now, I work full-time while pursuing my finance degree and real estate license. It’s a grind, but we’re willing to do what it takes to replace both mine and my wife’s income with cash-flowing rental properties and create a life we were never given. We’re starting from the ground up and are hungry to learn, grow, and connect with others on the same journey.
Looking forward to learning from this community and connecting with others who are investing in the Cincy/NKY market or doing Section 8 rentals.

I have personally known one person years back who held over 40 Section 8 properties in an inexpensive part of the city, employed a part-time maintenance crew and did very well but I have also heard many horror stories so do your due diligence.
