New To Bigger Pockets, Looking to Connect

Hey All,

I'm Ryan. I currently work as a Construction Manager/GC in NYC but have found myself increasingly interested in real estate. I am a part owner in the construction business (small, family business) and we primarily do luxury interiors in Manhattan.

I live and own a home in Westchester County with my wife where I intend stay and am looking for the best place to start in my real estate journey. I decided to take the NYS real estate licensing course as an avenue to obtain knowledge which I've almost completed.

My goal is to purchase, repair and rent single or multifamily rental properties in the area (Westchester, Putnam, or Ulster Counties). I am also open to fix and flips. My biggest knowledge gap is how to find a good deal.

I am finding myself relatively paralyzed on making the first step and was hoping to connect with some of you to see what advice you may have to offer!

Thanks!

Ryan
