New Member - Poconos PA and North NJ

Hey Everyone,

I am new to BP. I am 22 years old and I am graduating college this year with an accounting and finance degree. I live in the Poconos in PA, I go to school in NJ and I work in NYC. I am considering properties in Northern NJ or NE PA.

I have been working at a Big 4 Accounting firm for the past three years while in school which has helped me to build some capital that I can begin investing. I have been considering purchasing a multi-family home or a property with multiple homes using an FHA loan.

I am still considering the pros and cons of being a landlord versus possibly approaching real estate investing in another way. I am not sure if this would be the best approach for someone that is so young.

Any adivce is appreciated!
