Newlywed Couple Exploring Multi-Family Real Estate Investing

Akeeve Foreman
Posted

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

My name is Akeeve foreman, and I’m excited to join this amazing platform! I’m 25 years old, recently married, and hold a degree in Computer Science. My wife and I are eager to build multiple streams of income, and we believe real estate investing, particularly in multi-family homes, is a great way to achieve that goal.

We’re here to learn, network, and grow alongside experienced investors. I’m particularly interested in exploring strategies for acquiring and managing multi-family properties, as well as understanding how to leverage technology and data analysis to make informed investment decisions.

In addition to real estate, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship and business development. I’m always open to collaborating on innovative ideas and projects that align with our long-term financial goals.

I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals, learning from your experiences, and contributing to this community. Please feel free to reach out if you have any advice, insights, or opportunities to share!

Thank you, and I’m excited to be part of this journey!

@Akeeve Foreman - Awesome to hear! Glad to see you get started. I highly recommend starting with a basic househack, easy barrier to entry and gives you a crash course in being a landlord who lives on site. Maine in particular has a few markets with a decent amount of multifamilies. Lewiston Maine has a good amount of multis. I highly recommend you connect with an investor focused agent who can help you get started with a house hack. From there, you can expand your holdings into more multifamily / commercial multifamily.

One of my mentees, @Steve Kenney, has a decent amount of multifamily out there and is an investor focused agent. He can definitely find you a solid house hack if interested. Either way, you are definitely on the right track towards financial freedom. Real estate honestly is a blessing that can create the life you truly want to live!
