CRE attorney attempting to simplify the complex

David Kanarfogel
Posted

Hi there, I'm David Kanarfogel, an attorney based on Long Island with extensive experience across commercial real estate and CRE finance. I love talking about this stuff so much that my kids complain about it constantly, so I thought helping other people understand some of the general contours of the industry from a legal perspective would be a better outlet than lecturing teenagers for a fourth time about what a defeasance is!

Like all good attorneys, I'll incessantly remind everyone that nothing I'm saying is comprehensive legal advice and will always recommend that you engage an attorney before you do anything--that's just the rule of the road for us. But I do hope to offer some quality feedback for folks who are learning the industry and working towards success.
